Every month we nominate students who exemplify the theme of the month.
June 2024
Humility
Putting others before yourself and having a modest view of your own importance
Isabella 8th Grade
Bella was nominated because she showed humility through encouraging and putting her friends before herself in her club. For example, while in her club she was cheering them on and making sure to have fun herself.
Wyatt 8th Grade
Wyatt was nominated because he expresses humility by thinking of the staff members during his club. He wanted to uplift the staff members with birthdays by making them extra goodies from his own ingredients

Endurance
Ability to withstand hardship and adversity without compromising or giving up
Shahayla 7th Grade
Shay has demonstrated a positive attitude despite enduring hard situations going on in her life, including switching schools and moving here from Portland.
Jess 9th Grade
From family members surgery to things like how they respond to loosing in a game this month we've seen an effort to endure hardship and loss and try and come out looking at these obstacles with more optimism.
Tyler 10th Grade
Tyler stood up for what is right even when it was uncomfortable for him. He didn’t allow himself to be intimidated and endured through that challenge.
Kadence 7th Grade
She kept trying again and again when it came to archery. She couldn’t shoot well because she said it was hard for her to pull back. We continued teaching her and although she kept saying she couldn’t do it and it’s hard, she kept trying again. After a few tries she finally got it to work!
