Expanding the Hope
Every Student Deserves a Place to Belong;
Build It with Us
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We’re excited to announce our plans for an expansion! The new space will include 2 classrooms, an upstairs space designed for larger groups, a new game room so that we can move our after school meal out of the gym into an eating area and offices for our staff! With 120–150 kids often sharing just two indoor spaces, things can get loud and overwhelming, especially for students who need quieter environments to focus and feel comfortable.
WHY ARE WE DOING IT?
Our youth center is at capacity. Every day, we welcome more than 100 students. Meals spill into the gym during games, mentoring and academic support sessions compete with clubs and recreation, and quiet, sensory-friendly spaces must be temporarily borrowed from the nearby church. These challenges limit our ability to grow fun and exciting programs, host community events, and fully meet the needs of local youth and families.

OUR IMPACT 316%

The Gate Community Youth Center

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
The Gate Youth Association has secured more than 90 percent of the $2.3 million needed for our expansion. Thanks to generous partners, we are nearing the finish line. With community support, we plan to raise the final $200,000 to complete the project and open new doors of opportunity for local youth.
Partner with us to build a safe, welcoming space where local youth can grow and thrive.
